FRP Gratings
GrateWalk fiber glass reinforced plastics grating is specifically engineered keeping in mind the problems faced by corrosion in chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, pulp & paper, food & beverage, textile, automobile and other industries where corrosion problems are encountered.
These are areas where metal grating rapidly deteriorates. GrateWalk can be used for floors, platforms, trench covers, stairs, bridges, walkways etc.
Properties of Gratewalk
Corrosion ResistantGratewalk is manufactured using premium grade resins, making it resistant to acids and alkalies. Even after constant exposure to spills, splashes, fumes or gases, Gratewalk will consistently outperform metal gratings.
Fire Retardant
When required, Fire retardancy can be incorporated according to ASTM E 84 Tunnel test.
Anti-Skid
In case anti-skid surfaces are required, the same can be incorporated by special treatment.
Light in weight
Unlike metallic gratings, Gratewalk is light in weight and can be handled without the aid of hoists and pulleys. Further fabrication and cutting of Gratewalk can be done by using carpenter's tool.
